Elisabeth Hasselbeck Is Leaving Fox & Friends

Raising eyebrows today is the announcement that former reality show contestant turned TV host Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be leaving her current post at Fox & Friends in a few weeks.

Via Variety:

Hasselbeck, who joined Fox News in 2013 after nearly a decade at ABC’s “The View,” is putting her TV career on hold to devote more time to raising her three children, the network said.

A rotating set of co-hosts will serve alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade for the foreseeable future. Hasselbeck is expected to continue on air until late December.

“Elisabeth and I discussed this at length over several weeks, and while I would love for her to continue here, I respect her incredibly difficult, yet deeply personal decision,” said Roger Ailes, chairman and chief executive of Fox News Channel, in prepared remarks. “She has been a great addition to the Fox & Friends franchise.”

“Princeton Mom” advice on FOX & Friends: Ditch feminism and keep your husband happy

As I don’t watch much FOX & Friends, every now and then it’s “interesting” to see what passes for news-worthy with the “fair and balanced” folks.

Today, for example, Susan Patton, the so-called “Princeton Mom,” made an appearance advising young women that they should stop making careers their focus, and show their appreciation & respect for husbands with an evening cocktail or asking “what can I do to make your evening more ‘enjoyable?'”

Patton says if married women don’t follow her advise, they may find themselves without a man – and finding a new one may not be so easy.

“If you are in your mid-30s or older the idea that you’re going to find yourself another husband, almost impossible,” Patton predicted. “And if you don’t believe me ask your maiden aunt, she will tell you when she’d done feeding the cats.”

Patton says the problem today for married women stems from an “overcorrection” due to antagonistic feminists.

Fox News host quotes fake news story on President Obama and

Imagine how dumb this Fox News host must feel…

Fox and Friends host Anna Koolman was discussing the closure of the World War II memorial in Washington during the shutdown Saturday, and claimed “President Obama has offered to pay out of his own pocket for the museum of Muslim culture” while allowing the memorial to remain shuttered.

Problem is – Anna reads can’t tell the difference between “real news” and parody. The story actually came from the parody news site National Report.

Of course, this just gives even more credence to the fact that Fox and Friends doesn’t know what they are talking about – truth or fiction. All the same to them.
