A new report from The Trevor Project, a nonprofit that provides crisis support for LGBTQ young people, found less than half of young LGBTQ Floridians (48%) feel the community they live in was accepting of their gender identity or sexual orientation. The survey, of almost 1,000 young LGBTQ Floridians about their mental health, also found more than two-thirds (69%) of respondents say they (or family members) have considered moving out of Florida because of LGBTQ-related politics and laws.
