The Adventures of Ivan and Thor – “Coming Out”

Creative and cute video telling the “story” of Ivan Cruz and his best friend “Thor,” who helps Ivan deal with coming out.

Ivan tells Buzzfeed, “What I loved about using Thor in this video is the fact that our pets, whether it be a cat, a dog, a turtle, etc, they never judge us and to them we are just their friend and they love us unconditionally. I love that message.”

“I never imagined the day I’d come out. For a long time, I lived in the same fear that many others currently live in.

“With the help of my best-four-legged-friend, Thor, I decided to make this video and share my coming out story.

“A big thanks to all the brave people on here who have taken the time to share their own coming out stories and that have inspired me to do the same.

Gay “Cutest Couple” yearbook pic goes viral

Chelsea, over on her Tumblr account “Singing-Showtunes,”  share the above pic with this note:

“Two of my best friends won Cutest Couple of our senior class. First time in my school history a same sex couple has even been able to run for this category, not to mention winning it. So proud of them, and my school.”

“This whole thing has been a bit surreal for us because we have been raised to believe that love is love,” the couple tells Huffington Post via email. “We never realized that our happiness and openness would inspire so many individuals. The support we have received from our family, friends, and even strangers has led us to believe that our affection for each other is normal … When we started dating a year [ago], the thought of a photo of us traveling throughout the world would be a bit frightening, but now we are proud to be part of the LGBT community.”

Let’s hear it for Dylan and Brad!  AND for their friend Chelsea, who’s obviously cool herself.

Almost 30 year old does side by side video dance with his 20 year old self

Almost 30 year old Tyler Marcum does a side by side video dance with his 20 year old self:

“When I was 20 I filmed an interpretive dance to Dixie Chicks’ “Landslide” in my college bedroom – and in my underwear. I turn 30 in a week and couldn’t think of a better homage to my twenties than a sensible mash-up.”
