Saverio Pescucci went looking for a room to rent but became a viral sensation

Saverio Pescucci’s search for a room to rent in New York City went viral after he attached a few photos to his search ad.

A professional dancer by trade, Pescucci posted his search in the 284,800-member Gypsy Housing group on Facebook.

Describing himself as “super chill, friendly, gay, [and] Covid responsible,” Pescucci included the photos so people could put a face to the ad.

“I saw a lot of people … were posting pictures of themselves, like selfies and casual photos, to show that they’re not sociopaths or what kind of lifestyle they have,” the 29-year-old told the New York Post. “I did the same [but] I was not imagining that it would turn into an episode of ‘The Bachelor.’ “

Pescucci says the pics were a general assortment of vacation selfies and photos of him dancing.

To his surprise, the ad went viral garnering over 600 Likes and 400+ responses.

It’s pretty easy to see why the native of Tuscany, Italy, got such a reaction.

One woman commented on Pescucci’s ad writing, “[The] hot ones are never straight.”

Another couldn’t resist chiming in with “You’re cute … that’s all I have to offer you. A compliment.”

Gay men were a bit more to the point (as gay men can be don’t you know…)

“You won’t be paying rent for too long once you get here … [you’re] f–king hot.”

“I don’t have a room but I am single,” wrote Hassan Salazar, a drag performer who resides in Queens. Getting straight to the point, Salazar just put it all out there saying, “I’m just here to snatch myself a good man. He can have my apartment lol.”

Salazar told The Post that he liked that Pescucci is a dancer, and his eyebrows – he really liked his eyebrows.

“I’m going to consider my marriage proposal as pending,” added Salazar.

Pescucci told The Post that he didn’t intend for the ad to be “a thirst trap.” And while he wasn’t “uncomfortable” with the comments, he admits to being “really overwhelmed” by the responses.

He tried to respond to the comments individually but finally gave up by addressing everyone on the post.

“Omg, just waking up and what is happening on this post!?!??,” he wrote. “I just wanted a room!!!!”

He also thanked his new admirers “for all the sweet and kind words” and promised to read all of the comments as soon as he gets a chance.

Originally trained at Milan’s prestigious La Scala ballet academy, Saverio Pescucci has danced around the world with elite companies like the Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Finnish National Ballet. In 2017, he made his Broadway debut in The Phantom of the Opera.

Unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he’s hung up his dance shoes for a while and will begin a new gig working at an Italian food distributor.

And yes – the housing search was successful. Our furry hero did find a room to rent.

Straight Folks Try To Guess Gay Slang

The Buzzfeed Australia YouTube channel asked some straight folks ‘down under’ to try to guess what certain gay slang words mean.

Throwing out terms like “kiki,” “NPNC,” and “looking,” gay hosts Zotti and Ryan challenge Tom, Michael, Zeta and Sohan to surmise their meaning .

Everyone is good-natured about the challenge, although I will say folks in Australia have some slightly different definitions for some of these terms.

You can guess the one I’m talking about 🙂

Colton Haynes Is The Daddy We Always Knew He’d Be

Colton Haynes shares in a new YouTube video that he’s finally a daddy!

Ok, not that kind of ‘daddy,’ and it’s complicated…

It seems the time had finally come for Colton to bring a cat into his life: “Hey y’all…meet my son…Timothee Chalameow!”

But our hero may have had unrealistic expectations about cuddling and playing with Timothee right off the bat. Cut to Colton trying to coax his new buddy out from under the furniture.

“This is my life now, folks – trying to win the affection of a cat,” muses Colton as Timothee stares from the relative safety under the couch. “I’m so excited! I was born to be a cat dad.”

“Come here,…come cuddle with me,” pleads Colton to an aloof Timothee. “I just want your love and affection.”

L-R Colton Haynes, Timothee Chalameow

Colton swears to the camera that Timothee cuddles with him, but the new cat of the house doesn’t seem as drawn to the camera as his cat dad.

Is it possible Colton had a dog in mind and got confused?

And then, there’s the inevitable ‘incident.’

“Man, this whole fairy tale of getting a cat…Whoo! Not all it’s cracked up to be,” Colton shares. Apparently, there was a knock at the door, a deliveryman and a freak out involved, although Colton does see a silver lining of sorts.

Showing off his new scar, Colton shares that Timothee did attack him, but in a ‘super chic way.’  “It looks like a sexy vampire bite, so now I have that.”

I don’t want to give away the whole story, but all in all, it’s a pretty cute diversion from the outside world.

Hit the play button below to see if/how/when Colton and Timothee ever find common ground.

Viral Video: “The Most Fun I’ve Ever Had!’

YouTube personality Christian Hull (screen captures)

Have you ever made a purchase that made you so excited you didn’t know what to do with yourself?

Comedian and YouTube personality Christian Hull, based in Melbourne, Australia, is clearly beside himself after buying a folding board for t-shirts online.

“I have never been more entertained in my life with the most boring and mundane task of folding t-shirts,” announces Hull.

“This is so fun!” squeals the comedian as he demonstrates his new discovery. “And then all you do is go ‘boosh, boosh, boosh….Oh, oh, oh look how neatly it’s folded!!!”

He adds, “I can’t tell you – this has been the most fun I’ve ever had!”

Hull’s over-the-top joy  – “One of the single greatest moments in my life!!!” – cannot be contained and it’s charming.

In two days, the clip has been viewed over 7 million times and been ‘Liked’ on Twitter over 644,000 times.

Of course, savvy Big Bang Theory fans recalled the device being featured in a scene with Jim Parsons:

Readers, have you ever made a purchase that made you squeal with such delight?

Sometimes, it’s the little things. Happy Monday, everyone!

New Zealand Farmers Have A Hilarious Way To Explain What “Gay” Means

Check out the way cute video from Rainbow Youth, a non-profit supporting LGBT young people in New Zealand, which takes on the tiresome practice of calling anything weak, frustrating or disappointing “gay.”

When one of the farmers in the video accidentally drops his meat pie in the dirt, he proclaims the situation “gay.”

But his buddy steps in to explain that “gay” is not a substitution for something bad.

“Actually, Nigel, that’s not gay at all,” he says. “It’s deeply disappointing, but it’s not gay.”

The video was posted with this message: “We’re SUPER stoked to finally share with you our very first national ad campaign! We chose to address something small that contributes to much larger issues – homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia.”

Max Emerson And Soldier BF Are Way Adorable At Army Prom

(via Instagram)

Fitness/underwear model Max Emerson kinda broke Instagram with his pic from the West Point prom with the romantical pic (above) with his bf, U.S. Army soldier Andrés Camilo.

Captioned “Hello from #gay #army #prom,” Max and Andrés assumed the proper “prom position” for their pic.

Max was also generous in sharing a “before prom” pic:
