My hubby Michael just sent this to me. I had to laugh out loud because this is SOOOOO me in the mornings. I generally wake up pretty early (around 5am), quietly get my coffee, crawl back into bed, and check out the news landscape in silence 🙂 I don’t know who created it, but happy to give credit if I find out.
It’s Not Just The Coffee That’s Hot
At a new coffee shop in Seattle, there’s more than just coffee that’s hot. The recently opened Dreamboyz Espresso employs shirtless male baristas to serve up coffee drinks with a sense of fun (and maybe some extra foam).
The owners of the coffee shop previously operated a LadyBug Bikini Espresso shop in the same location which offered an all-female staff in bikinis to brew the java. Apparently, the ‘bikini barista’ thing began in the Oregon/Washington state area in the 1990s. But the LadyBug shop closed within a year due to lack of business, so the owners decided to switch things up from bikinis to ‘bare-istas’ clad in Chippendales-style bow ties and short-shorts.
Now, things are hopping at Dreamboyz as folks are driving from outside Seattle just to order some Joe from a shirtless Joe. With the slogan “Hot Guys Serving Hot Coffee,” what more could you want for your caffeine fix?
One of the shirtless hunks of Dreamboyz Coffee, Ja’shaun Williams, told local news station KIRO7, “Everyone’s been very appropriate and respectful.” Brandon Peters told Capitol Hill Seattle Blog, “I worked at a Starbucks a couple of years back, enjoyed being a barista, however it wasn’t enough money, so when I saw this opportunity, I was like, in a way, I get to bring those things together.” If you can’t make it to the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, check out the Dreamboyz Espresso Instagram below. https://www.instagram.com/p/B2Zq8VFggAg/ https://www.instagram.com/p/B2WuYgqAFPS/ https://www.instagram.com/p/B2ki9s9A6VX/
Study Shows Alcohol & Coffee Leads To Longer Life
According to a new study, I’m going to live forever.
Well, almost.
According to ABC7 in Chicago, a new University of California-Irvine study indicates that “consumption of moderate amounts of alcohol and coffee is linked to living a longer life.”
The caveat here is that one little word, “moderate.
“The 90+ Study,” begun in 2003, looked into the habits and lifestyles of 1,700 nonagenarians -referred to as “the oldest-old” age group – to determine “what is key to living to your 90th birthday and beyond.”

Science: Can You Really Have “Too Much” Of A Good Thing?
Study Shows Drinking Coffee Makes For A “Stronger” Penis
A new study done at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston says 2-3 cups of coffee a day could keep the erectile dysfunction (ED) doctor away.
Men over the age of 20 who took doses of caffeine equal to 2-3 cups of coffee were less likely to have ED problems than those who did not partake in the stimulant.
Men who were overweight seemed to benefit most. Caffeine acts as a stimulant similar to ED drugs like Cialis or Viagra which kickstart blood flow and cause arteries in the penis to relax.

Guess What’s In Your Favorite Holiday Coffee Drinks
Did you know that a Grande Eggnog Latte has the saturated fat of about 2 1/1 glazed donuts? That’s 60% of your daily saturated fat. (Insert sad trombone sound here…)
Check out this video from AOL that kind of spills the beans on your favorite holiday coffee drinks. Here’s just a bit of the 411:
• A grande Eggnog Latte = the saturated fat of about 2.5 glazed donuts
• A grande Chestnut Praline Latte = the sugar of 15 Hershey’s kisses
• A grande Peppermint Mocha = the sugar of 21 Hershey’s kisses
• A grande Gingerbread Latte = the sugar of over 10.5 Jolly Ranchers
Yikes!!!
I’m a regular coffee guy myself.
