SNL: Auto Shop Mechanics Admit They Love “RuPaul’s Drag Race”

Chris Pine (L) and Bobby Moynihan (R) lip-sync for their lives

Funny skit last night as SNL guest host Chris Pine, along with Kenan Thompson, Beck Bennett, Alex Moffat, Bobby Moynihan, all reluctantly admit they love RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Pine seems to know an awful lot about Drag Race contestant Trinity Taylor and her “tuck:’

“I’m guessing it’s when you tape your hot dog down between your buns so that you have that flat crotch illusion.”

And then there’s the fully committed “lip sync for your life” by Pine and Moynihan at the end that’s not to be missed.

Chris Pine On “Gay Sulu” In STAR TREK BEYOND

Star Trek star Chris Pine was asked by the Hollywood Reporter his thoughts on the news that the character of “Sulu” is revealed to be gay in the latest Trek film, Star Trek Beyond:

“Amen, man. It’s about f—ing time. The fact that there’s still a conversation about it means that there’s still room to go in terms of it being normalized.

“My only rebuttal to George Takei — no matter what kind of creative differences he had about Sulu being gay, and I can understand his creative differences — is the fact that our job is to make people feel less alone. If there’s one kid in Middle America who feels any amount of self-loathing because he feels different, or is being bullied because he feels different or looks different or sounds different, if our film can give him solace and make him or her feel less alone, then abso-effin-loutely we should do it all the time, every day of the week.”

First Look: “Into The Woods”

The first trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s “Into The Woods” has been released and it looks fantastic.

Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Johnny Depp and Emily Blunt are among the stars with direction by the fab Rob Marshall.

“Into the Woods is a modern twist on the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, intertwining the plots of a few choice stories and exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. This humorous and heartfelt musical follows the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel—all tied together by an original story involving a baker and his wife, their wish to begin a family and their interaction with the witch who has put a curse on them.”
