Just Jared shares these pics taken on the set of Bradley Cooper’s upcoming movie “American Sniper.”
We’d seen pics of the “bulked up Bradley” but the short-shorts bring a whole new dynamic to the look for the film.

Two-time Academy Award nominee (and People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive”) Bradley Cooper will star in a revival of the 1979 play The Elephant Man this fall at the Booth Theater.
The production will begin performances on Oct. 18th with an official opening on November 13th.
Cooper will be reprising his 2012 Williamstown Theatre Festival performance under the direction of Broadway veteran Scott Ellis.

Bernard Pomerance’s award-winning drama concerns the real-life 19th-century Joseph Merrick, a highly intelligent but severely deformed British man who went from circus freak to society darling in Victorian England.
“The Elephant Man” won a Best Play Tony in 1979, as well as a Best Actor nomination for lead actor Philip Anglim. The play was revived in 2002 and starred Billy Crudup. The 1980 film version starred John Hurt.
Unlike the movie, Merrick’s deformities aren’t rendered realistically with makeup or prosthetics on stage. As the star stands in a diaper-like loincloth, the audience has to use its imagination as each of Merrick’s cruel body-crippling maladies is discussed.
Cooper’s former cast mates, Patricia Clarkson (playing a famous stage actress who takes an interest in Merrick) and Alessandro Nivola (as Merrick’s doctor) will also join the Broadway production.
Oscar-nominated actor Bradley Cooper has been packing on muscle to woofy results for his upcoming role in real-life drama American Sniper.
In the film, Cooper plays the late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who had more than 160 confirmed kills during his four tours in Iraq.
Honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 2009, Kyle was tragically shot to death at a Texas gun range at age 39.
Currently shooting, American Sniper is announced for release in 2015.

Ok, Bradley Cooper is pretty charming in these clips from his appearance on ELLEN today.
In the first clip, he chats on being invited to a recent state dinner at the White House for French President Francois Hollande. All excited, he went to get dressed the night of the dinner and found his pants were very, very tight due to weight gain for a current film role. No room in the pants meant going “commando.” And it gets funnier from there.
In the second clip, he talks on being nominated two years in a row for an Oscar and his dilemma of being allowed only one guest and who he should bring to the big night.
Very charming. No wonder he’s a star.

This clip of Bradley Cooper appearing on “Inside The Actor’s Studio” (as a second year actor in the audience!) was recently discovered.
In the clip, Bradley asks Sean Penn about returning to the role of “Eddie” in HURLYBURLY.
And yes, Bradley was gorgeous then. AND smart enough to wear a perfectly blue shirt that stands out in the crowd.
As if Bradley needs help standing out in a crowd…
This is a good looking guy. No question.
Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper, who co-star in upcoming film “The Words,” have been rumored to be dating since they were first spotted at a Manhattan nightclub together.
“They are totally dating,” a source said, saying that Saldana and Cooper were talking about making a ski trip to the Rockies together.
Saldana, 33, only recently split with her fiance, entrepreneur Keith Britton, this past November after dating for 11 years.
Cooper, 36, meanwhile, has been linked to several women since his split with Renee Zellweger this past March, including Jennifer Lopez and French actress Melanie Laurent.
“If you’re a single man and you happen to be in this business, you’re deemed a player,” he told People magazine in his Sexiest Man Alive interview earlier this year. “But I don’t see myself as a ladies’ man.”
