A Pennsylvania man has been charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse after his father was found beheaded in their family home. Over the weekend, two Seattle area gay bars – The Cuff Complex and The Seattle Eagle – were the targets of a crackdown by the Joint Enforcement Team (JET), a coalition of Seattle Police, Fire, and the state Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB). After getting into a back-and-forth online with an LGBTQ activist, Bubba Pollock, 34, decided to travel nearly two hours and sneak into a palliative care facility to take an intimidating selfie with the activist’s father, who was being treated for late-stage cancer. Pollock has now pleaded guilty to criminal harassment for taking the bedside photo with LGBTQ activist/ally Britt Leroux’s father in June 2023.
