Ann Coulter Goes ‘Birther’ On Ted Cruz

It looks like right-wing loon Ann Coulter went “full birther” today when she took to Twitter to question whether Sen. Ted Cruz is eligible to run for president due to his being born in Canada.

This is a big u-turn for Coulter who as recently as 2013 said that Cruz was, in fact, a “natural born” citizen of the United States, and thus eligible.

In 2009, she called the ‘birther’ movement an “embarrassment” to the Republican party.

See her tweet from 2013 below:

Ann Coulter Tweets About “F*cking Jews” During Second GOP Debate

Last night during the second GOP debate, anti-everything author Ann Coulter got even more batshit crazy by going anti-Semetic on her Twitter:

Of course, response from the Twitterverse was swift and to the point. Folks from all over the spectrum weighed in on her hideous comments.

Here’s just one response, this one from actor Seth Rogen:

Ann Coulter: “Women Should Not Have The Right To Vote”

On the radio show “Free Speech” with Gavin McInnes, the Republican party’s favorite blonde, Ann Coulter, shared her disdain for women and immigrants.

Referencing Ted Kennedy’s Immigration Act of 1965, Coulter declared that changed the demographics of the United States in favor of Democrats, which she claims was the goal of the legislation all along.

Via Right Wing Watch:

According to Coulter, “Obama never would have been elected, I mean certainly wouldn’t have been reelected – Romney won bigger against, I mean, if the demographics of this country had not changed so dramatically because of immigration, Romney would have won a bigger landslide than Reagan did against Carter in 1980.”

McInnes, also brought up women voters, prompting Coulter to share her position that “women should not have the right to vote.” She continued that while women should not vote, “We can still write books! We can run for office.”

“You just can’t vote,” McInnes reiterated.

This is not the first time Coulter voiced her support for female disenfranchisement. In 2007, Coulter said that “If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat [sic] president.” Coulter described this as a “pipe dream” and a “personal fantasy” of hers that women, especially the single women who “are voting so stupidly,” will finally be silenced.

Ironically, McInnes is a Canadian immigrant to the US himself. I guess he gives himself a pass.

Mark Cuban & Ann Coulter Cast As Prez/Vice-Prez In “Sharknado 3”

Please tell me this means we get to see them eaten by sharks and Ian Ziering becomes President!

Via Deadline:

Mark Cuban (Shark Tank) has been cast as President of the United States and political commentator/author Ann Coulter will assume the duties of Vice President in Syfy/The Asylum’s Sharknado 3. The latest installment of the pop culture phenomenon will cause mass destruction in Washington, D.C. before roaring down the Eastern Seaboard and into Florida. It will premiere on Syfy in July.

Previously announced cameos in Sharknado 3 include Bo Derek as May, the mother of April (Reid); Jerry Springer, appearing as Mr. White, a manic tourist; *NSYNC singer Chris Kirkpatrick as a pool lifeguard; and Chris Jericho, as Bruce the roller coaster ride operator.

The “Sharknado” movie series has become a huge money-maker for Syfy. When the sequel – Sharknado 2: The Second One – aired last summer, it became the most-watched original movie in the network’s history.

An enormous part of the appeal of the films is the over-the-top/tongue-in-cheek humor played throughout the sci-fi film.

Another huge asset is the action hero studliness of leading man Ian Ziering. Like a fine wine, Ziering has aged very, very well. Take a look below from his appearances in Las Vegas as the Chippendales special celebrity host.

Yeah, that sells tickets… 🙂

Ann Coulter on Bill Maher – November 1, 2013

Ann Coulter made an appearance last night on Bill Maher’s REAL TIME on HBO hawking her latest book.

It is kind of amazing to grasp that Bill Maher really IS friends with Ann Coulter.

While I, of course, disagree with her on every issue, she’s become more a that “carnival/side-show” kind of thing to me now. Like Sarah Palin, no one really takes her seriously and we watch just to see how outrageous she’s going to be this time.

Kind of fascinating in a weird, “through the looking-glass” way.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));

Ann Coulter booed – again – for “Liberals want to destroy the family” comment

Mediaite is reporting on the boos and jeers the ever glum Ann Coulter received at the International Students for Liberty Conference in Washington, D.C. during a taping of Stossel for Fox Business Network.

Stossel then asked: “Why can’t gays get married?”

“Well, they can,” Coulter replied. “They have to marry a member of the opposite sex.” The room filled with boos.

“This is another one where you’re just sucking up to liberals when there are big fights,” Coulter explained.

“No, we believe the individual should be left alone,” Stossel shot back.

“Marriage is the most important institution to civilize young people. I’d make divorce a lot more difficult,” she said. “Liberals want to destroy the family,” she continued, eliciting jeers and mocking laughter from the students.

John Franklin Stephens schools Ann Coulter on class

Monday night, the above tweet from Ann Coulter got a lot of attention as she tweeted about the 3rd Presidential debate.  I thought it was tasteless and rude.

My brother has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  So, as someone who loves someone who faces difficulties every day many of us can never begin to imagine, I was offended.  And I made the decision to give the hideous author of the tweet no coverage.

THEN – I read this very moving and powerful letter from Special Olympics athlete and global messenger John Franklin Stephens to Ann Coulter aboout her tweet during the Presidential debate.

THIS is class.

*********************************************************

Dear Ann Coulter,

Come on Ms. Coulter, you aren’t dumb and you aren’t shallow. So why are you continually using a word like the R-word as an insult?

I’m a 30 year old man with Down syndrome who has struggled with the public’s perception that an intellectual disability means that I am dumb and shallow. I am not either of those things, but I do process information more slowly than the rest of you. In fact it has taken me all day to figure out how to respond to your use of the R-word last night.

I thought first of asking whether you meant to describe the President as someone who was bullied as a child by people like you, but rose above it to find a way to succeed in life as many of my fellow Special Olympians have.

Then I wondered if you meant to describe him as someone who has to struggle to be thoughtful about everything he says, as everyone else races from one snarkey sound bite to the next.

Finally, I wondered if you meant to degrade him as someone who is likely to receive bad health care, live in low grade housing with very little income and still manages to see life as a wonderful gift.

Because, Ms. Coulter, that is who we are – and much, much more.

After I saw your tweet, I realized you just wanted to belittle the President by linking him to people like me. You assumed that people would understand and accept that being linked to someone like me is an insult and you assumed you could get away with it and still appear on TV.

I have to wonder if you considered other hateful words but recoiled from the backlash.

Well, Ms. Coulter, you, and society, need to learn that being compared to people like me should be considered a badge of honor.

No one overcomes more than we do and still loves life so much.

Come join us someday at Special Olympics. See if you can walk away with your heart unchanged.

A friend you haven’t made yet,
John Franklin Stephens

Ann Coulter says gay rights are not civil rights

This woman’s voice makes my eyes bleed.

Somehow, a woman who is smart enough to get a book deal and smart enough to get paid to speak in different places thinks “civil rights” can only apply to black people because “we owe them.”

The simple fact of the matter is: civil rights are any rights afforded by a civil government. And the LGBT stance is if other people have those rights – WE are deserving of those rights. Not special rights – equal rights.

How this woman can not understand this simple concept, I don’t know…

Pardon me as I wipe my bleeding eyes.
