U.S. Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) said the quiet part out loud today as he attacked the debt ceiling agreement brokered by President Joe Biden and Speaker Kevin McCarthy. What really burns Bishop’s butt is that the agreement says the nation’s debt limit will not have to be raised until 2025. But what the far-right Republicans wanted was to use the debt ceiling in 2024 to tank the economy in order to help Trump win.
