The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) unanimously voted to censure board member Natalie Cline and asked for her resignation after she publicly questioned a high school athlete’s gender in a Facebook post. USBE found Cline had engaged in “cyberbullying” and “sexual harassment” when she suggested the female athlete was transgender. A New York judge has ordered Donald Trump to pony up $355 million in penalties for conspiring to manipulate his net worth in order to obtain more favorable interest rates. The Donald is also barred from doing business in New York state for three years. The special counsel investigating the president’s son, Hunter Biden, has now charged a one-time FBI informant with lying to investigators about the business dealings of the first son and President Joe Biden. For months, House Oversight Committee chair Rep. James Comer (R-KY) and fellow Republicans have based much of their accusations against the Bidens on the “informant” and his lies. In a landmark victory for LGBTQ advocates, Greece’s Parliament has approved (by a vote of 176-76) a bill legalizing same-sex marriage in the socially conservative country. In doing so, Greece becomes the 16th European Union country to embrace marriage equality and the first Orthodox Christian nation to do so.
