The U.S. economy lost 23,000 jobs in July

The U.S. labor market shed 23,000 jobs in July, and jobs gains for May and June were also revised down by a combined 103,000 jobs, according to a new report by the Labor Department.

The Daily Beast: Trump’s failing Truth Social platform continues its downward spiral as daily active users have reportedly plummeted from 436,000 in July 2025 to only 261,000 one year later.

ABC News: Sen. Mitch McConnell issued a statement today saying he has been discharged from the rehabilitation center where he had been recovering after a fall and will continue to recover at home.

While his office has released two photographs of McConnell since his hospitalization, the Kentucky senator has not been seen in public.

Trump Complains Big Oil Is Making “Too Much Money”

Donald Trump blasted big oil producers, including Exxon Mobil and Chevron, for making “too much money” after the oil majors reported big quarterly earnings during the Iran conflict.

Last week, Chevron reported its highest quarterly profit in six years. Exxon Mobil’s earnings hit a four-year high.
