A State Memorial Service will be held to honor the extraordinary life of Dame Olivia Newton-John AC DBE at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne, at 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 26.
With the time change, that means folks in the U.S. will be able to tune in via live-stream tonight at 9pm Pacific/midnight Eastern time.
The live-stream for the event will begin a half hour before featuring a photo montage of highlights of Olivia’s life. The live-stream (available globally) will be hosted on the official website of the Premier of Victoria, Australia until March 5, 2023.
In just a couple of hours I will be joining Australians and fans around the world to honor Olivia’s memory and her achievements.
In addition to remembrances by Olivia’s widower, John Easterling, and daughter Chloe Lattanzi, video messages from entertainment luminaries Dolly Parton, Elton John, Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, Pink, Barry Gibb, Mariah Carey, RuPaul, Tina Arena, Richard Marx and Hugh Jackman will be shown during the memorial service.
As regular readers of The Randy Report know, my husband Michael has been Olivia’s publicist for 20+ years. The photo above was from 2019 when she officiated the renewal of our wedding vows on our 25th anniversary.
Dame Olivia passed away on August 8, 2022, following her 30-year journey with breast cancer. She was 73.
