Out singer/songwriter John Duff drops his new single, “Gravity,” which he says is “technically my first love song, and that feels amazing.” The guitar-led mid-tempo has a chill, comfortable James Taylor vibe that pairs well with Duff’s easy, soulful vocals, resulting in an imminently listenable track. The song came at a time when I was lost. And in that, I became a bit unbalanced – in a constant state of questioning. Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts and no feeling.

Life had become a strategic game of hiding in plain sight. A lot of us who left home to pursue our individuality know the feeling.

But something happened – after a lot of hard work on my part – some ego death – some remembering – I found the ground. I found love (first inside, then outside).

My mind still asks a million questions, but i never ask why – because I don’t think there is an answer. Just to live. To be alive. To love.

I write this happily from earth – where I currently reside – two feet on the ground – with love.
