Jon Stewart Rips Rudy Giuliani Over “Love Of Country” Remarks

So, as we all know by now, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, speaking at a Republican dinner featuring Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker at Manhattan’s 21 Club said, “I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible things to say, but I do not believe that the President loves America.”

And since then, Guiliani has doubled-down and tripled-down on that sentiment. He’s gone on to say that President Obama didn’t “live” through 9/11. Guiliani did, but the rest of America (including Obama) did not, apparently.

Jon Stewart took the former mayor to task last night on The Daily Show:

“You know, you’re not the mayor of 9/11, right?” Stewart asks. “You don’t own 9/11. You don’t own anything but the unique willingness to crassly exploit it.”
