Today’s holiday tune comes from international recording artist George Perris’s Christmas album, The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!
The album is based on his TV special shot with an 18-piece big band at the Piraeus Municipal Theater in his home city of Athens, and perfectly encapsulates the joy of the season and togetherness.
Featuring timeless holiday classics in English, French, and Spanish, the collection underscores Perris’s global appeal and his power to unify people through music this festive season.
With a similar warmth and vocal style, Perris has often been compared to international superstar Michael Bublé.
In March 2022, he made international headlines when he came out as part of the LGBTQ community with the release of his album, No Armor.
Metaphorically dropping his “armor,” Perris told PEOPLE at the time that he never really felt he was living in the closet. “I never hid my life. I’ve always lived the way I wanted to; it’s just that I didn’t have the courage to talk about it publicly.”
But after 20 years in the public eye, he’s was ready to live his life openly and authentically. “I’m relieved, I’m happy, and I’m proud of myself that I’m able to do this.”
