CBS News: Mississippi COVID Patients Express Regret Over Skipping Vaccines

CBS News correspondent David Begnaud reports from a Mississippi hospital where the number of COVID-19 patients has soared from 2 the first week of May to 59 today. In interviews, several of the patients share their regret over skipping the vaccines. William Ball, 52, is so weak he can’t sit up in his hospital bed. Begnaud tells his wife, Alicia, some people who watch the report “don’t think the virus is serious.” “We didn’t either at first,” she replies.
