Crowder talks about how the National Rifle Association obsessively thinks that the solution to every problem is always MORE GUNS.

Associated Press Responds To Criticism Over Declaring Hillary Clinton Dem Nominee Before Final Primaries

After the Sanders campaign criticized the Associated Press for determining Hillary Clinton to have accrued the requisite number of delegates to clinch the Democratic nomination for president, Senior Vice President and Executive Editor Kathleen Carroll issued this statement.

AP concluded that Hillary Clinton had enough delegates to clinch the nomination after a painstaking but very straightforward exercise.

We counted.

By Monday evening, 571 superdelegates had told us unequivocally that they intend to vote for Clinton at the convention. Adding that number to the delegates awarded to Clinton in primary and caucus voting to date gave her the number needed to be the presumptive nominee.

That is news, and reporting the news is what we do.

Nothing in that discourages or prevents voters in six states from exercising their right to go to the polls today and cast their ballots.

It should be noted that John Kerry was declared the Democratic nominee on March 10, 2004, based on AP superdelegate tally.

Primaries/caucuses after that date: KS, IL, AK, CO, PA, IN, NE, WV, AR, KY, OR, AL, SD, MT, and NJ.

Thank you, NBA and Teespring, for this generous support, and for standing with your LGBT fans, LGBT youth, and GLSEN with these Pride-themed shirts.

For LGBT fans and players alike, visibility and inclusion in the family of sports remains a key goal. The entire GLSEN family is proud of our longstanding partnership with the NBA, and excited about all of the work we are doing together to make K-12 physical education and athletics – and all of K-12 education – more inclusive and welcoming of LGBT students.”

Meryl Streep Does Donald Trump Drag

Meryl Streep proved she can play any role – ANY – by appearing last night in Donald Trump drag.

From the New York Daily News:

The award-winning actress, 66, bellowed an inspired twist on Cole Porter’s “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” as the presumed Republican presidential nominee during the Public Theater’s 2016 Gala finale.

She fashioned her hair after Trump and let her bold red tie hang low while joining Tony-winner Christine Baranski on stage at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park for a duet from the musical “Kiss Me Kate.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham Urges Republicans To Rescind Their Endorsements Of Trump

While not one prominent Republican has stepped up to defend Donald Trump’s racist “Mexican judge” attacks on Judge Curiel, Sen. Lindsey Graham has had enough.

Graham has withdrawn his endorsement of the Trumpster and is urging other Republicans to do the same:

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, another former primary rival of Mr. Trump’s, urged Republicans who have backed Mr. Trump to rescind their endorsements, citing the remarks about Judge Curiel and Mr. Trump’s expression of doubt on Sunday that a Muslim judge could remain neutral in the same lawsuit, given Mr. Trump’s proposed ban on Muslim noncitizens entering the country.

“This is the most un-American thing from a politician since Joe McCarthy,” Mr. Graham said. “If anybody was looking for an off-ramp, this is probably it,” he added. “There’ll come a time when the love of country will trump hatred of Hillary.”

Broadway Carpool Karaoke With James Corden

In advance of his upcoming gig hosting this year’s Tony Awards, The Late Late Show’s James Corden HAD to do a Broadway version of his uber-popular segment “Carpool Karaoke,” right?

And who better to join him than Broadway stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Jane Krakowski and Jesse Tyler Ferguson?

Stick around for the “One Day More” from Les Miz (Audra’s last note!).
