Scott Baio Defends Donald Trump: Trump “Talks Like A Guy,” So Grow Up If You’re Offended

I’m not sure if it’s good news that Donald Trump has Scott Baio, 70s/80s sitcom actor, come to his defense with this.

Talking to Fox News, “Chachi” had this to say:

“He [Donald Trump] talks like a guy. And ladies out there, this is what guys talk about when you’re not around. So if you’re offended by it, grow up. And by the way, this is what you guys talk about over white wine at your brunches. So take it easy with the phony outrage, this is the way the world works. It’s not a big thing.”

Make note that the Fox News host jumps in quickly to say “I don’t! I don’t talk like that!”

Donald Trump’s #PussyGate Scandal Will Be First Topic At Tonight’s Presidential Debate

According to CNN, debate moderators Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz will bring up Donald Trump’s scandalous #PussyGate controversy right out of the gate tonight.

Hillary Clinton won the coin toss, so she will get the first question.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a Trump campaign adviser and surrogate, told political news shows this morning that Trump will most likely apologize again for his crude language on the tape.

However, Trump has begun to resurrect via Twitter the allegations of Juanita Broaddrick (who has asserted then denied that Bill Clinton raped her in 1978)  in an attempt to deflect responsibility.

During the 90 minute town hall style debate, the moderators get to to choose the topics and audience participant’s questions. According to the Commission on Presidential Debates, all 40 of the voters attending the debate (chosen by Gallup) are described as “uncommitted voters.”

CNN also notes that the moderators will look to “to include topics that were not covered during the first debate, plus campaign storylines — like the Trump tape fallout — that have happened since then.”

The debate will air on all major networks beginning at 9PM ET/6PM PT.

Polls: Momentum Moving Clinton’s Way In Vital Swing States FL, OH, PA

New polling out this morning shows the current momentum moving in Democrat Hillary Clinton’s way, especially in regard to vital swing states Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

In each state, you can see the majority of recent polling is good news for Clinton and not so much for Republican Donald Trump.

In Florida, the newest NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll indicates Clinton has a 3 point lead over Trump.

The results of the latest CBS News/YouGov polls give Clinton a 4 point lead in Ohio and 8 point advantage in Pennsylvania.

Lin-Manuel Miranda Kills Cold Open on SNL With “My Shot” Parody

Pultizer Prize, Tony Award and Grammy Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) does “not throw away” his shot at a cold open on last night’s Saturday Night Live.

Humble as ever, Miranda acknowledges that Broadway stardom doesn’t always translate to the rest of the world. “I’m fresh off a long run performing in my musical ‘Hamilton,’” Miranda said, “Which fortunately is one of the biggest hits ever on Broadway so that means most of you at home have no idea who I am.”

He then serves up a parody of one of the big songs from Hamilton, “My Shot,” with (practically) no mention of politics. Miranda’s effusive enthusiasm is a joy.

“My name is Lin-Manuel, I am hosting SNL and I am not throwing away my shot.”

Here’s a great diversion from the ongoing Trump scandals.

SNL: Theater Nerds Get Down At The “Crucible Cast Party”

Ok, I can post this in full disclosure that not only did I know these folks when I was in high school, I WAS this crowd.

Saturday Night Live sends up the always painful to remember “high school play cast party.” And they nail it right down to the chaste “back rub” that never went anywhere.

Rock on!

Love Hamilton‘s Lin-Manuel Miranda’s rap in the middle of the segment.

SNL Celebrates #PussyGate

We all knew the folks at Saturday Night Live had to be planning something after this weeks’ vice-presidential debate. And they do give us some spot-on Kaine/Pence debate action.

But, of course we have to preempt in the wake of #PussyGate!

Alec Baldwin delivers another memorable “Trump” here (can’t pronounce “apologize”), and Kate McKinnon’s “Hillary Clinton” when asked if she wants Trump to drop out of the race is perfection.

Watch below.

For the first time in this presidential election cycle, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice weighed in.

Via Facebook:

“Enough! Donald Trump should not be President. He should withdraw. As a Republican, I hope to support someone who has the dignity and stature to run for the highest office in the greatest democracy on earth.”
