Omarosa: “Every Critic Will Have To Bow Down To President Trump”

Reality TV personality and Donald Trump surrogate Omarosa Manigault, speaking to the press last night, said the newly-minted President-elect is making a list (and checking it twice) of people who did not support his run for the White House.

At Trump’s election night party at the Midtown Hilton Hotel in New York, Omarosa told the Independent Journal Review that “it’s so great our enemies are making themselves clear so that when we get in to the White House, we know where we stand.”

An an example, Manigault reminded that Sen. Lindsey Graham did not support the Trumpster during the presidential cycle and instead cast his ballot for independent candidate Evan McMullin. “If [Graham] felt his interests was with that candidate, God bless him. I would never judge anybody for exercising their right to and the freedom to choose who they want. But let me just tell you, Mr. Trump has a long memory and we’re keeping a list.”

Check this video from earlier in the campaign where Omarosa spells out how Trump sees his enemies.

“It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”

Brain Break: Pietro Boselli Takes Off His Shirt Over & Over

It’s the day after the election (ugh) and Hump Day, so I need a little mid-day brain break.

So, of course I turn to Italian fitness hunk and “World’s Hottest Math Teacher” Pietro Boselli as he demonstrates how many times he can take off his shirt, and put it back on, in just one minute.

Boselli has recently become the face of Armani. I’ve previously about the buff Boselli here.

Hillary Clinton’s Full Concession Speech

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton gracefully concedes the 2016 race for the White House to Donald Trump.

I’m very proud of what Hillary has done these past 16 months. I supported her in 2008, and I waited 8 years for her to run again for president. I’ve believed in her every step of the way.

In my estimation, she is the best candidate for the job of president. But our electoral process came to a different conclusion. I can acknowledge that.

You can sense the disappointment she feels here. Not only for her own loss, but for all the people who worked so hard on her behalf and believe in her.

Here’s the full text of her speech.

Thank you.

Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans.

This is not the outcome we wanted or we worked so hard for, and I’m sorry we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for our country.

But I feel pride and gratitude for this wonderful campaign that we built together –- this vast, diverse, creative, unruly, energized campaign. You represent the best of America, and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

I know how disappointed you feel, because I feel it too. And so do tens of millions of Americans who invested their hopes and dreams in this effort. This is painful, and it will be for a long time. But I want you to remember this: Our campaign was never about one person or even one election. It was about the country we love — and about building an America that’s hopeful, inclusive, and big-hearted.

We have seen that our nation is more deeply divided than we thought. But I still believe in America –- and I always will. And if you do, too, then we must accept this result -– and then look to the future.

Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.

Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power, and we don’t just respect that, we cherish it. It also enshrines other things –- the rule of law, the principle that we’re all equal in rights and dignity, and the freedom of worship and expression. We respect and cherish these things too — and we must defend them.

And let me add: Our constitutional democracy demands our participation, not just every four years, but all the time. So let’s do all we can to keep advancing the causes and values we all hold dear: making our economy work for everyone, not just those at the top; protecting our country and protecting our planet; and breaking down all the barriers that hold anyone back from achieving their dreams.

We’ve spent a year and a half bringing together millions of people from every corner of our country to say with one voice that we believe that the American Dream is big enough for everyone — for people of all races and religions, for men and women, for immigrants, for LGBT people, and people with disabilities.

Our responsibility as citizens is to keep doing our part to build that better, stronger, fairer America we seek. And I know you will.

I am so grateful to stand with all of you.

I want to thank Tim Kaine and Anne Holton for being our partners on this journey. It gives me great hope and comfort to know that Tim will remain on the front-lines of our democracy, representing Virginia in the Senate.

To Barack and Michelle Obama: Our country owes you an enormous debt of gratitude for your graceful, determined leadership, and so do I.

To Bill, Chelsea, Marc, Charlotte, Aidan, our brothers, and our entire family, my love for you means more than I can ever express.

You crisscrossed this country on my behalf and lifted me up when I needed it most –- even four-month old Aidan traveling with his mom.

I will always be grateful to the creative, talented, dedicated men and women at our headquarters in Brooklyn and across our country who poured their hearts into this campaign. For you veterans, this was a campaign after a campaign — for some of you, this was your first campaign ever. I want each of you to know that you were the best campaign anyone has had.

To all the volunteers, community leaders, activists, and union organizers who knocked on doors, talked to neighbors, posted on Facebook – even in secret or in private: Thank you.

To everyone who sent in contributions as small as $5 and kept us going, thank you.

And to all the young people in particular, I want you to hear this. I’ve spent my entire adult life fighting for what I believe in. I’ve had successes and I’ve had setbacks -– sometimes really painful ones. Many of you are at the beginning of your careers. You will have successes and setbacks, too.

This loss hurts. But please, please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it. It’s always worth it. And we need you keep up these fights now and for the rest of your lives.

To all the women, and especially the young women, who put their faith in this campaign and in me, I want you to know that nothing has made me prouder than to be your champion.

I know that we still have not shattered that highest glass ceiling. But some day someone will -– hopefully sooner than we might think right now.

And to all the little girls watching right now, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world.

Finally, I am grateful to our country for all it has given me.

I count my blessings every day that I am an American. And I still believe, as deeply as I ever have, that if we stand together and work together, with respect for our differences, strength in our convictions, and love for this nation -– our best days are still ahead of us.

You know I believe we are stronger together and will go forward together. And you should never be sorry that you fought for that.

Scripture tells us: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.”

My friends, let us have faith in each other. Let us not grow weary. Let us not lose heart. For there are more seasons to come and there is more work to do.

I am incredibly honored and grateful to have had this chance to represent all of you in this consequential election. May God bless you and god bless the United States of America.

Who Knew The Theme From BEWITCHED Had Lyrics?

While the television show never shared them, the 1960s hit series theme song for “Bewitched” actually had lyrics. Who knew?

Steve Lawrence recorded the “Bewitched” theme, written by Jack Keller and Howard Greenfield, back in 1964, the same year the popular TV series starring Elizabeth Montgomery launched.

President Obama’s Remarks On The Outcome Of The Presidential Election

President Obama’s remarks on the outcome of the presidential election.

Obama congratulates president-elect Donald Trump, and has invited him to meet at the White House on Thursday to begin conversations that will ensure a peaceful transfer of power.

“We are all rooting for his success in leading and uniting the country.”

Press secretary Josh Earnest said in a statement that the president called both Trump and Hillary Clinton following the results of the election early Wednesday.

Nazi Website: “Now We’re Going To Get To Kick Out These Monkeys!”

Andrew Anglin, editor of The Daily Stormer, penned this post in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s election as president-elect.

The Daily Stormer is an American neo-Nazi and white supremacist news and commentary website. It is part of the alt-right movement, and calls itself “The World’s Most Visited Alt-Right Website”. (I won’t link to the site, you can find it easily).

We won, brothers.

All of our work. It has paid off.

Our Glorious Leader has ascended to God Emperor.

Make no mistake about it: we did this. If it were not for us, it wouldn’t have been possible.

We flooded the tubes, we created the energy, we made this happen.

We were with him every step of the way.

And the great news is, we’re going to be given credit for it.

The media is finished. They are going to lash out. They will implode completely.

History has been made.

Today, the world ended. A new world has been born.

Anything is possible now. The future is wide open.

Trump is a step toward our goal, not our actual goal, but he is a gigantic step.

All my friends in Europe are texting me “NOW WE’RE GOING TO GET TO KICK OUT THESE MONKEYS!!!!”

Seriously, all caps texts, just like that.

We will now move into the next phase of our Great Work.

Tomorrow, we troll.

Though probably not until evening. I’ve got to get some sleep. I’ve been up a very long time. I don’t take days off, ever (except Christmas), but tomorrow, I’m going to give myself half a day.

This has been the best year and a half of my life.

We have won so much. And it has led to the ultimate win.

The battle is far from over. Much, much, much work to be done.

But the White race is back in the game. And if we’re playing, no one can beat us.

The winning is not going to stop.

Thank you all. I love you all.

I am humbled to have had the honor of narrating this epic story for all of you amazing people.

Donald Trump Becomes President-Elect

Republican Donald Trump has become president-elect after last night’s election and will become the 45th president of the United States.

Donald Trump won 289 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton’s 218, thus winning the Electoral College.

The states of Michigan (Trump currently leads by 16, 236 with 5% of the vote out) and New Hampshire (Clinton currently leads with 1,365 votes with 2% of the vote out) have not been declared for either candidate yet, but the remaining 20 electoral votes won’t change the outcome of this election.

Hillary Clinton currently leads in the popular vote by 165,481 (Hillary Clinton – 59,344,168; Trump – 59,178,867). Those numbers will adjust as there’s still a sizeable number of votes to be counted in California. Clinton currently leads there by 2,505,694 votes) with only 65% of the vote counted.

In the end, this election will end with one candidate winning the Electoral College by a small margin, and the other candidate being the choice of more Americans by a margin of perhaps 3 million votes.

What that means is we clearly have a divided country.

But it’s the Electoral College that matters.

America has a new president-elect, and may we all wish him the best that he may be his very best.

I’ll post my thoughts on the “hows” and “whys” in a later post.

National Exit Poll Results: Voters Think Trump Lacks Temperament & Qualifications

Early nation exit poll results (over 15, 000 interviews) via ABC News:

• More voters see Donald Trump unfavorably than Hillary Clinton – 61% to 54% respectively.

• While 59% of voters find Clinton untrustworthy, a greater percentage – 61% – find Trump even more dishonest.

• When it comes to temperament and being qualified for the presidency, Clinton comes out way on top. Clinton gets 53% of voters saying she’s qualified to be president, and 56% indicate she has the proper temperament. Trump sees a big drop in his number garnering only 37% on being qualified and 34% for temperament.

• On the topic of personal issues, Trump’s treatment of women bothers 51% of voters, while Clinton’s email debacle concerned 44%

• Hillary garnered 87% of African American vote, Trump only 8%

• Hillary wins Hispanic vote 65% – 27%. That number could go up for Hillary as some exit polling data isn’t in yet from Western states like Nevada, Arizona and Colorado.

• When it comes to the young vote (under 30) Hillary gets 54% versus 34% for Trump – 20 point advantage.

• Senior vote went for Trump 52% versus Hillary’s 45% – only a 7 point margin. I mention that because four years ago Mitt Romney won the senior vote by double digits.

• Better Commander-In-Chief? Hillary Clinton edges Trump 49% over 45%, while Clinton has a clear advantage on foreign policy (53% vs. 42%).

• Hillary scored on 59% of first time voters, Trump only a third of voters 32%.

I’ll add to this post as more info comes in.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo To Trump Spokesman: “Do You Have Any Proof Of An Audit?”

In a tense interview segment with CNN’s Chris Cuomo and Trump spokesman Jason Miller, Cuomo asked Miller if he could prove Donald Trump is actually being audited by the IRS.

As we’ve all seen for the past year, Trump says he can’t release his tax returns, as every other presidential candidate has done for 40 years, because he’s being audited by the IRS. The IRS has said there’s no problem with sharing those files.

Most believe that Trump is merely attempting to hide something – his true wealth, his true charitable giving, or his true tax rate.

Here’s part of the exchange via RawStory:

Jason Miller, the Trump advisor, said he did not accept the FBI’s explanation that newly discovered emails were actually duplicates of Clinton messages already examined by investigators.

“No, don’t accept it — they should release all the emails, let us have a look before Election Day,” Miller said. “We think that would be the smart thing to do.”

Cuomo, the host of “New Day,” accused the Trump campaign of hypocrisy.

“You love transparency when it’s not you guys,” Cuomo said. “You don’t see any irony in that?”

Cuomo called on Trump to release his emails — which have not been hacked and then dumped online by WikiLeaks — or his tax records, and Miller said he would do that as soon as an IRS audit was completed.

“You think anybody believes the audit thing going to the polls tomorrow?” Cuomo said. “You have any proof of an audit?”

Miller stammered, and said of course Trump could prove his taxes were under audit.

“Yeah, you do?” Cuomo said. “Have you seen an audit letter?”

Miller tried to change the subject, but Cuomo pressed on.

“That is the fact, right?” Cuomo said. “Transparency only works one way in this election where Trump’s involved.”

Miller tried changing the subject to the Clinton Foundation, and Cuomo offered to demonstrate how easy an audit can be proved.

“I’ll show you an audit letter I got,” he said.
