• Media Matters: The hosts of Fox & Friends had a meltdown that tours of Thomas Jefferson’s home, Monticello, mention he owned 600 slaves. “They’re committed to telling the worst story of America and now they’re doing it inside the homes of the Founding Fathers.”

• New York Times: Book bans have exploded across the country, and librarians have found themselves on the front lines of an ugly culture war. They have been labeled pedophiles on social media, and reported to law enforcement officials. Some have quit after being harassed, others have been fired for refusing to remove books from circulation. • North Carolina Pilot: State Rep. Ben Moss is co-sponsoring legislation that would essentially eliminate any free electric vehicle charging stations on public property if a free gas pump is not similarly provided.
