Bobby (played by Eichner) clearly falls in love with Aaron (played by Luke Macfarlane), a guy who he believes is out of his league. https://youtu.be/BQIeBB9XMe8 One of the main through-lines of the film appears to be Bobby’s involvement in an LGBTQ+ Museum as we get a glimpse into a hilarious scene during a roundtable featuring characters played by Dot-Marie Jones, Jim Rash, Ts Madison, Miss Lawrence, and Monica Raymund. Back to the romance, at one point Bobby calls Aaron a “gay Tom Brady” and questions Aaron’s gayness after being sent a GIF from The Office.
