(image via Depositphotos) Guatemala’s Congress has approved legislation that prohibits same-sex marriage and teaching about sexual diversity in schools. https://twitter.com/TizBreda/status/1501604153440755724 Reuters reports the new law “prohibits teaching children and young adults about sexual diversity and gender ideology and stipulates that no orientations other than heterosexuality are ‘normal.'” The legislation also calls for increasing the punishment for abortion to 25 years – except when the life of the mother is in danger.
