Fox Host Refuses Vaccination As “Giant Middle Finger To Joe Biden’s Tyranny”

During an appearance on far-right pundit Dan Bongino, Fox News host Lisa Boothe said she’s not vaccinated against the coronavirus because she has a “97.99 chance of survival.” She called her refusal to help protect those around her a “giant middle finger to Joe Biden’s tyranny.” https://twitter.com/LisaMarieBoothe/status/1452246262535925761   “I, as a 36-year-old woman with no underlying conditions, have a 99.97 percent chance of survival against COVID,” said Boothe. “So I was on the fence because it didn’t make sense to get vaccinated for a virus that is not a threat to my life, nor one that I fear. “But now, I’m doubling down as a giant middle finger to Joe Biden’s tyranny, because now it’s a fight for freedom,” she added. “Now it’s a fight against tyranny in America and that’s what this is all about.” What Boothe failed to note is that while she might very well survive a bout of COVID-19, there was no mention of long term effects from having had the virus. In April, Science Daily reported on a study which showed, “eight months after mild COVID-19, one in ten people still has at least one moderate to severe symptom that is perceived as having a negative impact on their work, social or home life.” And Fox29Philly recently reported on a study published in the journal “Nature” found that 80% of people who were infected with COVID-19 will experience at least one or more of the long-term effects associated with the virus. https://twitter.com/FOX29philly/status/1436083297168330756 And what about the financial hit patients could face after “surviving?” FAIR Health analyzed data from over 30 billion healthcare claim records and found the average charge per COVID-19 patient requiring hospitalization averaged out to between $17,064 for a patient over 70 to $24,012 for people in their 50’s. In August, the Kaiser Family Foundation issued a report showing the estimated the cost of COVID-19 hospitalizations at approximately $20,922. No mention of any of that from Boothe. Huh… It’s worth nothing that Fox News requires all employees to be either vaccinated or submit to a daily on-site COVID test. Additionally, face masks are required in all areas regardless of vaccination status. Earlier this month, Boothe called the development of an oral treatment for COVID-19 developed by Merck a “scam” saying its approval was just a favor to “Big Pharma.” She argued that ivermectin (which has not been proven to be effective against COVID-19) could be repurposed for “so cheap.” Ahem….Ivermectin is manufactured by that very same “Big Pharma” company, Merck. https://twitter.com/LisaMarieBoothe/status/1443952825571160064
