A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows 76% of adults who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine want a booster shot. https://twitter.com/Reuters/status/1433191710453010437 The results indicate the desire for the follow-up jab stems primarily over concern for the highly contagious Delta variant. Only 6% said they did not want the booster, 18% were unsure. Among those aged 55 and over, 80% said they want one. In related news, Moderna has announced it has submitted initial data for the use of a 50-microgram booster dose of its two-shot vaccine. The original Moderna vaccine contains 100 micrograms of mRNA in each shot. The FDA is already considering booster shots of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. https://twitter.com/Reuters/status/1433200511436591107
