“Thank God You Introduced Me To Your Sister” is a raucous, rowdy guitar driven pop/rock track that totally captures the larger-than-life personality of out singer/songwriter Sarah Barrios. And the video is just as flirty and fun as you want it to be. Lately, I’ve had a funny relationship with music videos. Sometimes, they can really add a layer of artistry and storytelling that supports the song, the lyrics, the music. Other times, I get an advance track of a song that really lands with me, but then the ‘official music video’ doesn’t really seem to jive with the song/music. It’s like someone made a bad decision and now we’re watching something that distracts from the really good song. The good news is the latest music video from out singer/songwriter Sarah Barrios definitely lands in the former category. https://youtu.be/RVck-gwJ7IU Barrios describes the track as a “messy, book-inspired, bisexual daydream and I can’t wait for the world to fall into it with me.” “In my head, I’m way more confident and cool than I am in real life,” she shares via press release. “I have crazy adventures, wild situations and get lost in way too many love tropes.” “After coming out earlier this year, I was really nervous about how I would talk to women, so I spent a lot of time daydreaming up crazy stories and this song was one of them,” she adds. “Thank God You Introduced Me To Your Sister” is available on all digital streaming/download platforms.
