• OUT: “The Traitors: New Blood” contestant Jay Vinnedge (above) came out as straight on social media after gay confusion. Vinnedge and his wife both made videos responding to fans being shocked that he is married to a woman.

• Erin in the Morning: Blake Gendebien, Democratic candidate for New York’s 21st congressional district, is facing a tough fight against Republican Anthony Constantino. But in his efforts to try to turn the seat blue, Gendebien is running a campaign ad invoking the anti-trans dog whistle, “boys in girls sports.”
• ProPublica: Team Trump reportedly floated an idea that would have virtually shut down mail voting: requiring all ballots to be delivered through certified mail – which would have required voters to be home and sign for delivery of their ballots. The Postal Service objected saying that it would have been impossible to execute.

• Courthouse News: Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court today for help ending most gender-affirming healthcare for transgender people in federal prisons
• Billboard: Forty-five years ago today – September 28, 1981 – Olivia Newton-John released her massive pop hit “Physical.” The track held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks – the most for any single in the 1980s.
