New Music From Orville Peck ‘MULE’ + Cast Of ‘The Traitors’ Season 6 + More

Some news items for you as we head into the weekend:

New Music: Out country music star Orville Peck drops his highly anticipated new album, MULE.

Peck describes the new collection as his “most intimate and ambitious work to date” chronicling his decline into addiction and rehab, the difficult work of sobriety, and the uncertain process of putting a life back together.

Pink News: Peacock has announced the celebrity line-up for The Traitors season 6, with RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Bianca Del Rio, Queer As Folk actor Johnny Sibilly, and Broadway’s Kristin Chenoweth set to enter Alan Cumming’s reality mind game ahead of a 2027 launch.

Outlets are split on numbering because the civilian spin-off “The Traitors: New Blood” premiered last night as Season 5, making the upcoming star-studded group technically Season 6.

The Advocate: It’s long been known that the bullying LGBTQ people face in their youth can have lifelong health ramifications, but a new study is finding this type of social rejection may have a particularly impactful effect on vaping rates.

New York Times: The Donald announced his administration reached a deal with Denmark and Greenland giving the U.S. “permanent control over security, and all other needs,” in the semi-autonomous Danish territory “FOREVER.”

Note – since 1951, the U.S. has had an agreement with Denmark granting the U.S. broad freedom to operate military installations on Greenland. That agreement doesn’t have an expiration date.
