LGBTQ Nation: In an interview with Meet the Press, out former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said he believes America is ready for a gay president.

The Advocate: The editorial staff of some of the country’s most prominent LGBTQ+ publications (The Advocate, Out, Pride.com, Out Traveler, Them) demanded answers from their parent company, equalpride, after a report revealed that one of its board members had expressed support for Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.

Pink News: Gay adult star Riccardo Staudt, also known as Noah Segsy, died at the age of 22 after drowning in a swimming pool in Cyprus.

OUT: Chris Gallant, a New York Democrat running for Congress, posed in leather gear as a favor for a friend about 15 years ago. Far-right activists think this is something of a “scandal.” Srsly

Gallant is also a Black Hawk pilot, Army veteran, National Guardsman, former air traffic controller and union leader, and volunteer firefighter.

Washington Sun: Donald Trump Jr.’s wife has confirmed their lavish wedding weekend in May was bankrolled by a Russian oligarch.

Texas Tribune: Texas Railroad Commissioner candidate Bo French stood by racist remarks he made Sunday on social media that included a photo of diverse students celebrating a football game at the University of Texas at Austin.

Despite the agency’s name, the Texas Railroad Commissioner regulates the state’s oil, natural gas, pipeline, and mining industries.
