• Pink News: A California woman has pleaded guilty to murdering her wife, a respected California fire captain, in a jealous attack partly captured on the couple’s home security camera. Her guilty plea included an admission of a prior conviction for the voluntary manslaughter of her husband more than 20 years ago.

• Gay City News: The NYPD is searching for two men who allegedly hurled anti-LGBTQ slurs and violently attacked two other men — one of whom needed hospitalization — in Manhattan late last month.
• People: Brittany Boltinhouse has made her first public remarks after being stripped of her Miss North Carolina USA title. She agreed to step down after racist, homophobic, and transphobic social media remarks came to light.
She’s still not owning up to the comments. Boltinhouse says she believes that she was stripped of her title because of her views as a “conservative Christian woman.”
