Well, we all saw this coming…
Donald Trump repeatedly attacked U.S. Attorney and former Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro in the Oval Office today for dropping charges against a former Olympian who was accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
Prosecutors say after the indictment against David Hearn came down on July 2, the Interior Department provided additional documents to the U.S. attorney’s office “indicating that damage to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in June 2026 was the result of flawed installation by the contractor, Atlantic Industrial Coatings.”
Trump is still bigly mad, though, telling reporters today, “Jeanine Pirro made a mistake. It was vandalism.”
“I was disappointed with Jeanine Pirro, really disappointed with Jeanine Pirro. She folded like an umbrella, and people get away with things,” he added, calling the lack of charges “a disgrace.”

While Trump dodged questions whether he plans to fire Pirro, CNN is reporting he is “furious” with Pirro. One source told CNN that he fumed about her all weekend.
They added that based on his criticisms of her, they find it “highly likely she’s removed from her job.”
CNN Reporting that Trump is considering removing Jeanne Pirro:
We’re told essentially, though, that Pirro has been telling the president that it was career officials in her office who had written that filing, not her directly. pic.twitter.com/8s1wc4DXlI
