Despite being asked by the families of fallen service members to NOT have any cameras at Wednesday’s dignified transfer ceremony at Dover Air Base, the Trump administration photographed the private event and released the images
The lead photo above was taken at a previous dignified transfer service when the Donald chose to keep his hat on as fallen soldiers’ bodies passed before him.
From Meidas Touch News:
The outlet reported that “at the request of the families, the dignified transfer is going to remain private. There will not be any cameras.”
The policy allowing families to decide whether media can attend dates back to the Obama administration. Despite the lack of press access, the White House distributed multiple photos from the ceremony.
The images were widely disseminated across official White House platforms, including posts on X and Instagram, as well as a TikTok video set to “Amazing Grace.”
Images made public included Trump saluting as a flag-draped transfer case was carried past him, U.S. troops loading a transfer case into a transport vehicle with Trump in the background, and more.
He wants the photos to exploit the service members via grifting emails. Shameless…
NEW: Families requested no cameras at today’s dignified transfer at Dover, yet Trump’s White House released and promoted photos from the ceremony across social media, including TikTok. https://t.co/vib46eeNup
