Bad Bunny had a huge night at the 68th Grammy Awards last night taking home three trophies including Album of the Year for “Debí Tirar Más Fotos (I Should Have Taken More Photos).”
That win makes him the first Latin artist to win “Album of the Year” in the history of the Grammy Awards.
In 2016, Bad Bunny worked at a grocery store as a bagger.

The musician beat Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar to win the night’s top prize for his 6th album, a personal and powerful exploration of Puerto Rico’s musical history.
He also took home trophies for Best Música Urbana Album and Best Global Music Performance (“EoO”). His next big appearance will come this weekend as he will headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show.
Accepting the award for Best Música Urbana Album, the longtime LGBTQ ally began his thank yous saying, “Before I say thanks to God, I’m gonna say: ICE out!” Cue the massive cheers.
“We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens,” he added. “We are humans and we are Americans. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So, please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love.”
Other notable wins of the night include:
• Kendrick Lamar picked up 5 trophies including Record of the Year for “Luther.” The track samples Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn’s 1982 duet “If This World Were Mine” — and, during his speech, Lamar paid tribute to Vandross, a closeted queer musician who passed away in 2005.
• Lady Gaga won Best Dance Pop Recording (“Abracadabra”), Best Remixed Recording, and Best Pop Vocal Album (Mayhem”).
• Billie Eilish and Finneas are now the first to win Song of the Year three times after last night’s win with “Wildflower.”
• Those two WICKED witches, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, scored for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Defying Gravity.”
• And Justin Bieber took the term “stripped-down performance” to a new level taking the stage in just his boxers.
