Kerry Ellis and Ben Forster, two of the West End’s most celebrated voices, will take the stage at Sony Hall in New York City on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
I will so be attending this.
Kerry Ellis, dubbed “The Queen of the West End,” brings her powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence to New York City in a rare concert appearance.
Known for iconic roles including “Elphaba” in Wicked (first UK actress to play the role and subsequently performed the role on Broadway) and “Fantine” in Les Miserables, Kerry has enjoyed a remarkable two-decade recording career, including acclaimed collaborations with Queen’s Sir Brian May.
In addition to music theatre classics, rock-infused anthems, and personal stories, Kerry will also perform songs from her latest album, Kings & Queens.
“I can’t wait to bring a little West End sparkle back to New York,” Kerry shares in a press statement. “Sharing the stage with Ben, performing songs I love, and celebrating the start of a new year with such an incredible audience—what could be better? It’s going to be pure musical magic!”
I met Kerry a few years ago, and she’s just a doll. And a talent who really delivers.
Joining Kerry is Ben Forster, who makes his New York City debut while celebrating the release of his new album, Musicals Greatest Hits.
Internationally renowned for his soaring vocals, Forster is best known for his recent turn as the “Phantom” in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.
He rose to fame after winning Webber’s hit television series Superstar, followed by starring as “Jesus” in the global arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.

This is one of my favorite videos of Kerry: an early collaboration with Sir Brian May of “Anthem” from CHESS.
