Some news stories for you as we head into Christmas week.
• Pink News: Episode 5 of the gay ice hockey series Heated Rivalry has become the second-highest rated TV episode of all time scoring ten out of ten stars just three days of release. Recap of the fantastic episode at the link. Here’s the scene that laid me out (spoiler alert).
• The Tab: If you’re a man who likes men but hates the LGBTQ+ community (i.e. self-loathing), then the Straight Acting Brotherhood might just be the community you’ve been looking for.

• Courthouse News: A federal judge has ruled the Department of Education’s attempt to cancel roughly $1 billion in school mental health grants was unlawful and ordered the funds reinstated. The programs were established by Congress after mass school shootings in Florida and Texas.
• Axios: The Trump administration is immediately pausing all leases for offshore wind projects under construction due to “national security risks.” But wind advocates say Team Trump is starting with the Donald’s distaste for offshore wind and working backwards from there to find reasons to thwart projects
• Outsports: Out Olympic medalist Gus Kenworthy took a huge step toward the Milan Olympics with a top-5 finish in the IFS Grand Prix. It would be his fourth Winter Games.
• LGBTQ Nation: A psychologist is speaking out about what it means that Donald Trump keeps taking cognitive tests, explaining that Trump’s doctors are likely past the point of trying to figure out whether he is suffering from dementia and are now just monitoring his decline.
