EU Court: Poland Must Recognize Same-Sex Marriages + More

• BBC: Poland has been told by the European Union’s top court it must recognize same-sex marriages registered elsewhere in the EU. The high court made clear that Polish domestic law would not have to be changed to recognize marriages between people of the same sex.

• Gayety: The queens of Drag Race are trading workroom wigs for emergency whistles in Stop! That! Train!, a camp-filled action comedy starring RuPaul and directed by Adam Shankman. The drag disaster spectacle is scheduled to land in theaters May 2026.

• The Advocate: The U.S. military intends to end its support for Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts of America) citing its decision to change its name in an effort to be more inclusive. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth accused the group of trying to “attack boy-friendly spaces.”

• JoeMyGod: A private call between Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff and Putin advisor Yuri Ushakov was just leaked — and it shows the American envoy effectively acting as a strategist for Moscow including Witkoff coaching the Russian envoy on how to flatter Trump.

• Them: Legendary out gay actor Udo Kier has died at the age of 81. The performer appeared in Madonna’s Sex book, starred in My Private Idaho, and did voice acting for The Batman series.

• AP News: A copy of the first Superman comic book, found by three brothers cleaning out their late mother’s attic, netted $9.12 million this month at a Texas auction house making it the most expensive comic book ever sold. The previous record was $6 million for an “Action Comics #1” sold last year.
