• Gr8erDays: Six-time Emmy Award winner Jean Smart (Designing Woman, Hacks) celebrates 74 trips around the sun today.
• LGBTQ Nation: The Florida Department of Transportation painted over gay mecca Key West’s Pride crosswalk in the dead of night this week. A second Pride crosswalk in Delray Beach was also painted over.
• New Music: Pop diva Kesha leans into a country music tilt with out recording star Orville Peck for their new collaboration “Tennessee.”
• Violence Prevention Project: A deep dive into statistics finds 98% of mass shooters are male, 2% are female, and less than 1% are transgender.
• X: Donald Trump mourned the loss of his friend.
