UPDATE: Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) resigned from the House today effective immediately – the same day that Donald Trump announced that he had tapped the Florida lawmaker to be his attorney general. Several GOP senators have already expressed doubts that Gaetz could get confirmed to that powerful Cabinet position. Even so, I’m pretty sure Trump would find another spot for him that doesn’t require Senate approval.
