Harris begins her speech at the 1:35:00 mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSTleAR0L_0 • The Advocate: A man in Texas has been indicted on several felonies and federal hate crime charges after being identified in a 2022 string of attacks on transgender women in Houston. • Pink News: Blackpool FC striker Jake Daniels, England’s only openly gay male professional footballer, has spoken out about people’s preconceptions about LGBTQ+ sports stars. • AP News: David DePape, who attacked the husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with a hammer in their California home, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole following a state trial. He had already been sentenced to 30 years in prison on federal charges. • MSNBC: While President George W. Bush sits silent on the sidelines, his daughter Barbara has endorsed VP Kamala Harris for prez. Bush’s own veep, Dick Cheney, is also voting for Kamala.
