I am so sad to learn of the passing of stage and screen actor Ken Page at the age of 70. Page is best known for his Broadway roles in The Wiz, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Cats, It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues and the first Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls.
Rest well dear Ken Page, Broadway star of “CATS,” “Ain’t Misbehavin,” and so many more. Here he is in his vocal splendor performing the finale of CATS. pic.twitter.com/PKNfDXucuq

He was also widely known as the voice of “Oogie Boogie” in The Nightmare Before Christmas franchise. Read more about his fabulous career at BroadwayWorld.com. I met Ken several times due to my connection to CATS and he was all that talent plus a great and wonderful personality. Rest well, Ken Page.

My wonderful Old Deuteronomy, Ken Page, in the 1998 theatrical movie version of @CatsMusical, has gone to the heaviside layer. We certainly are having a sad September. He was a lovely, kind, talented man. RIP Ken. pic.twitter.com/nOGJEWj0hA
