President Joe Biden did a good job last night at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, cracking jokes about his age, Donald Trump’s legal woes, and members of Congress. He also thanked the free press and mentioned the vitality of journalism. It’s nice to see how comfortable Biden is in his skin. It’s been a long-held tradition for the president to show up to the annual gala with some good-natured ribbing. He took as well as he gave, too, laughing at all of comedian Colin Jost’s jokes about him.
