Dozens of licensed mental health and medical professionals have signed a petition formally “diagnosing” Donald Trump with dementia following several campaign appearances where the Donald seems to slur his words, lose his train of thought, and more. https://twitter.com/RonFilipkowski/status/1764295156981723453 Via Raw Story:
Trump on Saturday headlined multiple rallies, where he made numerous verbal slip-ups.
In one case, the former president appeared to say “Venezwheregullah.” The result was laughter from political onlookers on social media.
It even led one psychologist to say that his speech mishaps were “consistent with a diagnosis of dementia.”

We, the undersigned licensed medical and mental health professionals (INCLUDE YOUR ADVANCE DEGREE IN YOUR LAST NAME), diagnose Donald Trump with moderate to advanced dementia, based on his public behavior and informant reports that show progressive deterioration in multiple higher cortical functions including: memory, thinking, ability to use language, orientation, learning capacity, judgement, and both gross and fine motor skills.
We feel an ethical obligation to warn the public and urge the media to cover this national emergency.
As I write this, the petition has garnered a total of 100 formal signatures. Another group, Duty to Warn, which describes itself as “an association of mental health professionals warning NOW about TrumpISM,” also highlighted the petition. https://twitter.com/duty2warn/status/1764290764777947150
