Some news items you might have missed: • Pink News: Keri Blair (above), a member of the anti-LGBTQ “Moms for Liberty” chapter in Tennessee, resigned from her school board position after being arrested for shoplifting more than $700 worth of products from her local Target store. So much for holier-than-thou values… • The Advocate: A priest in Poland was arrested and charged with sex crimes this week after a man overdosed on erectile dysfunction pills at an orgy he hosted in August last year. • LGBTQ Nation: President Joe Biden is on his way to appointing a record number of LGBTQ judges. https://twitter.com/lgbtqnation/status/1745509632288641112 • Cardinal News: The University of Lynchburg’s Dell Thrift and Pantry offers free clothing, nonperishable food, and supplies. It’s targeted toward transgender and nonbinary students but is open 24/7 to all students, faculty, and staff. • West Virginia: A bill introduced in the WV state Senate would classify transgender individuals as “obscene” and would bar “transgender exposure, performances, or display” to minors. This could effectively criminalize the public presence of transgender individuals, as avoiding being perceived as transgender by a minor would be nearly impossible. • The Missoulian: During a “getting to know you” activity early in the school year, a teacher at Frenchtown Intermediate School in Montana, mentioned that she has a wife in response to a student’s question about a photo.
