Disgraced former Rep. George Santos (R-NY) sat down with journalist Piers Morgan to discuss his brief one-year stint in the House of Representatives and the lies that led to his expulsion. Perhaps the most interesting moment in the segment came when Morgan asked Santos what led to the long litany of lies. If there are deep-rooted reasons for lying? And the former congressman had nothing to explain his behavior. “You know, Piers, no.,” says Santos. “There’s nothing I can say to that.” And then silence.
