New Music: Bouncy, Buoyant ‘Six Feet Under’ From Kisos

Out recording artist Kisos drops his latest single, “Six Feet Under,” from his new EP Autophagia, which means to eat yourself alive, and psychologically, represents the self-harm we inflict on ourselves. Sonically, “Six Feet Under” is a bouncy, buoyant pop celebration with gospel-inspired vocal arrangements.

Kisos describes “Six Feet Under” as a reverse funeral of sorts, adding, “It’s the culmination of a hard-fought healing journey and explores my rebirth from the edge of death.”

Won’t let you bury me alive No longer feasting on my mind Slowly recovering my sense of wonder In order to get back from 6 feet under

Filmed in an LA backyard by Miss Ash Productions, the music video is a pink-tastic playful expression of joy and renewal, featuring nerdy dancing and a giant gummy octopus. https://youtu.be/VNSRRzwOiVg?si=BLgMYAfphyNewIPG An unabashed story of healing, Kisos says he wanted to bring carefree, spontaneous energy to the video shoot. “On a whim and shoestring budget, we found a great location and snagged tons of props from a friend’s job,” says Kisos about the collaboration. “Everything miraculously fell into place! The location host even made us cookies and drinks while we worked! The shoot was the beacon of wholesome energy we needed.”
