P!nk To Perform Tribute To Olivia Newton-John At 2022 AMAs

P!nk will pay tribute to international superstar Olivia Newton-John at the 2022 American Music Awards. The “What About Us” singer will perform a classic ONJ hit at the awards ceremony. https://twitter.com/billboard/status/1592183374013251585 Via Billboard:

P!NK will perform a Newton-John classic in tribute to the singer, who died in August after a long battle with breast cancer. Newton-John was a 10-time AMA winner. She won favorite female artist — pop/rock four times, a record that was unmatched in the show’s first 20 years.

Newton-John also co-hosted the 1976 show with Glen Campbell and Aretha Franklin. P!NK will have two performance slots on this year’s show.

She was already set to perform her new single “Never Gonna Not Dance Again.”

In February 2014, right before Olivia was to begin her Las Vegas residency, P!nk was closing her “Truth About Love” tour. Olivia was a huge fan of P!nk’s music and overall amazing talent. She asked hubby Michael and I to join her for the concert, and it was spectacular. I don’t think Olivia sat down for even one minute.

Before and after the show, we went backstage to meet P!nk, and the two blond pop-stars became fast friends. What do international icons discuss in private?
