Arizona’s Kari Lake on Sunday did not answer — when asked multiple times —whether she will accept the results of her state’s 2022 gubernatorial election if she loses.
Lake, a 2020 election denier, is locked into a tight race with Democrat Katie Hobbs to become Arizona’s next governor, a position that has the potential to affect the 2024 election process.
“I’m going to win the election and I’m going to accept that result,” Lake said, after being asked by CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of The Union” if she would accept the election results if she loses.
During the interview, Lake asserted there’s abundant evidence of fraud in the 2020 election, but the mainstream media won’t cover it. Media aside, more than 60 lawsuits brought by Team Trump failed because they were unable to prove their allegations. As JoeMyGod noted, Lake likes to appear on camera from behind a heavy gauze filter. If she can’t be honest about something as basic as how she looks, who could trust her to tell the truth about anything? The latest polls show Lake ahead of Hobbs by less than one point.
