98 Degrees to reunite for Mixtape Festival

Although rumors were denied earlier this year, it looks like the buzz about a 98 Degrees
reunion is at least somewhat true. The boy band will reunite for a
one-off performance at Pennsylvania’s Mixtape Festival in August,
Nick and Drew Lachey confirmed.

The brothers
called in to Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Wednesday (June 20) to talk
about, among other things, their band’s reunion. “We’re very excited
about the opportunity,” Drew Lachey told Seacrest, “and we’ve been
toying around with the idea for a couple years of: ‘if we got back
together, when would be the right scenario, and this music festival
right here just kind of seemed like the right time to get back
together and do a show and kick the tires and see how it feels.”

Boy band fans will have no shortage of acts to see at Mixtape Fest. Besides 98 Degrees, The Wanted, New Kids on the Block and the supergroup NKOTBSB are also slated to perform over the weekend.
