American Family Association Teases Super-Secret Anti-Gay Tool

Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association

The American Family Association serves notice (in their year-end money beg) that they have developed a super-secret, “revolutionary” weapon to fight the gays.

Shhhh. It’s a secret!

From the American Family Association head Tim Wildmon:

“Early next year, AFA will launch a new project unlike any other in the pro-family movement. It’s been almost a year in the making and we’re just about ready to release it.

“Because atheists and homosexual activists will go all out to attack AFA and this revolutionary new tool for Christians and their families, I can’t go into much detail right now. But I can tell you that we have put an enormous amount of work and financial resources behind it.

“Your financial support couldn’t come at a more critical time. AFA is one of a handful of groups actually fighting back against the secularists and the humanists in an organized fashion and making a real difference. Won’t you please consider making a small contribution to help us continue our work?

“First, it’s tax-deductible. AFA is a 501c3 organization and depends entirely on friends like you to keep us going strong. Secondly, I want to send you a free gift as a way of saying thanks for your support. Please make your generous donation today!”

American Family Association’s Tim Wildmon Is Really, Really Mad

The American Family Association is uber-mad that the Human Rights Campaign is working towards equal rights for LGBT folks in the south.

Really, really, super mad.

And they really hate that they are being called out for the anti-gay rhetoric they dish out which can lead to gays, lesbians or transgender folks being bullied or harrassed or sometimes killed. Yes, killed.

Gasp – as if no one has ever heard of a gay person being assaulted in the name of religion.

Check what AFA President Tim Wildmon has to say below via press release:

“There is a war against the Bible in America and a war to marginalize the millions of Americans who believe the Bible,” said AFA President Tim Wildmon. “HRC is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in outside monies to undermine what Scripture teaches and to insult, denigrate and target those who hold to Scripture. For an organization that claims tolerance, HRC employs deceptive tactics and outright lies to attack those who respectfully disagree with them. This is hardly tolerance.”

The Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest homosexual activist organization, has begun running television ads in Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas. Named “Project One America,” the ad campaign is out to change the minds of individuals regarding the nature of homosexuality.

“AFA will not be fooled by this campaign to normalize homosexuality in the southern states,” Wildmon added. “And we hope others won’t be fooled either. The ads are deceptive and meant to mislead. It’s never OK to bully, harass or physically assault homosexual individuals. These ads tell outright lies claiming Bible-believers favor such hateful and violent practices. When you have to lie to make your case, it’s a clear indication your case is devoid of truth.”

Tim Wildmon of the AFA says he can tell who’s gay on the street

In this video, Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association says he can tell who is gay because “they walk like a girl,” which Linda Harvey blames on Hollywood.

According to Harvey, even Super Bowl commercials show men who aren’t “masculine.” But catch how she backtracks several times over herself – she starts what is clearly going to be a gross generalization, then qualifies the statement before she even finishes the sentence.

And trust me, there are MANY gay men who are not “effeminate.” And by the way – WHO CARES?
