GOP Congressman’s Six Siblings Endorse His Dem Opponent

The ‘Gosar Six’

In the past, we have seen political campaigns where the occasional brother or sister of a candidate would disagree with their sibling’s political positions.

But how about SIX siblings?

Republican congressman Paul Gosar’s six brothers and sisters not only oppose his re-election to Arizona’s 4th District this November, they’ve endorsed Gosar’s Democratic opponent, David Brill, in a new campaign ad.

In the ad, Gosar’s siblings speak directly to the camera about their brother’s positions on health care, immigration, and the environment.

“He’s not listening to you, and he doesn’t have your interests at heart,” Tim Gosar said.

Mary Cheney on her sister Liz’s “opposition” of marriage equality

“For the record, I love my sister, but she is dead wrong on the issue of marriage. Freedom means freedom for everyone. That means that all families — regardless of how they look or how they are made — all families are entitled to the same rights, privileges and protections as every other. It’s not something to be decided by a show of hands. Please like and share if you agree.” – Mary Cheney (above right), writing today on her Facebook page.

Mary married her partner in Washington DC last summer.

Yesterday Liz Cheney, currently running for the US Senate in Wyoming, announced that she opposes same-sex marriage.
